PDL has designed a range
of flush, surface and panel mounted RCDs, RCD
powerboards, an RCD adaptor and an RCD rewirable plug
specifically designed to minimize the risk of a fatal
electric shock when working with electricity around the
home or on the building site.
A PDL Residual Current
Device is an electronic sensing device which constantly
monitors the balance of current flow to ensure that,
should even a minute leakage occur; the PDL RCD will
switch off the power in less than the time of a single
heartbeat. That could mean the difference between life
and death. In the
workshop and outdoors, many factors can contribute to a
potentially lethal situation when using power tools,
extension leads and any outdoor electrical equipment.
PDL RCDs offer personal protection against electrocution
